Project: Seating for Sensory Garden at Lisburn Assessment & Resource Centre
The Lisburn Assessment and Resource Centre is a Southern Eastern Trust
facility which acts as a large day care centre. It has the capacity for
120no trainees who have a range of learning disabilities, additional
physical disabilities and/or sensory impairment. It has 2 state of the
art multi sensory suites and 2 indoor sensory gardens, specially
designed to meet the needs of the trainees.
Environmental Street Furniture (ESF) were delighted to provide a range
of exterior seating for the sensory garden, working alongside Hamilton
Architects and McAlteer and Teague Building Contractors. ESF supplied
the popular Vera seat from our Signature Collection by MMCite. The Vera
range of exterior seating is of a modern design, durable and robust. The
seating has a simple shape and clean lines with a galvanised steel
frame, powder coated in Anthracite Grey finished with tropical wood
boards. The Vera range also has a number of other design options from
individual chair style seats, benches and seats with or without armrests
to a selection of steel or stainless steel curved benches and seats. The
Vera range of wooden seating is available in steel or stainless steel
round grids. There is a children's seat - Mini Vera, 1m long in a steel
frame with wooden boards and rounded edges and a popular double sided
bench available in a number of options and finishes.
